Lomondgate's anchor tenant, BBC Scotland has located its drama production centre within the development and has demonstrated its commitment to the location, signing up until 2026.
Originally home to the Scottish flagship soap, River City, from an onsite purpose built studio, the centre has quickly developed into a major production facility creating high profile dramas for UK transmission. Programmes include The Deep staring Minnie Drive and James Nesbitt and Hope Springs with lead, Alex Kingston. Plans are already in place to expand the centre further, both physically and in production output.
