Lomondgate spans the A82 trunk road on a 120 acre site at the northwest edge of Dumbarton.

The development partners have invested more than £14 million into the project with a substantial element of this directed towards the upgrading and improvement of existing infrastructure including the creation of a major new roundabout on the A82 which provides direct access to the development areas north and south of the trunk road.

These improvements along with substantial structural landscaping have transformed the environment and produced an attractive and welcoming location.

    The key features to Lomondgate are:

  • 30 acres of Residential homes to the south of the A82 - Led by Walker Residential, two national house builders Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey have purchased the remaining two sites and three builders now creating a new, high quality community which will extend to some 345 new homes.
  • 20 acres of Business Park to the north of the A82 - This will provide flexible office accommodation which will have the ability to adapt to varying requirements and tenures. In creating its new 190,000 sq ft production facility, Aggreko has in fact, albeit for its own use, created the first 26,000 sq ft of offices.
  • 9 acres of Roadside Services adjacent to the Business Park - Already the location for a 60 bed Premier Inn and Brewers Fayre Family Pub Restaurant, facilities will include a petrol filling station and convenience store; alongside two fast food/restaurant outlets and further convenience retail/tourist facilities; and a créche.
