With the new access to the A82, Lomondgate has excellent links to Dumbarton town centre and the west of Scotland.

Glasgow International Airport lies approximately 12 miles south east across the Erskine Bridge and regular bus services link the development directly with Dumbarton and the wider surrounding area. Within Dumbarton there are three railway stations that provide direct links to Glasgow city centre and the wider area.

Four trains per hour run between Dumbarton Central and Glasgow Queen Street during the day with an average journey time of 33 minutes. Trains commence as early as 06:00 from Glasgow to Dumbarton and from 06:25 from Dumbarton to Glasgow. Services in both directions terminate around 23:30. Additionally, Renton Station is less than a mile from Lomondgate. Trains from Dumbarton to Renton have a journey time of 7 minutes.

A number of regular bus services currently pass the entrance to the business park. It is also envisaged that a dedicated bus link will be provided from the business park to and from Dumbarton Central Railway Station.
