INFRASTRUCTURE CONTRACT AWARDED
Raynesway Construction Ltd have been awarded a contract in excess of £5.0 million to undertake all infrastructure works necessary to deliver the Lomondgate project.
The works will include the creation of a major new roundabout on the A82 along with further improvements to the A82 at the Barloan Toll roundabout and the Garshake Road junction.
In addition the A813 Stirling Road will be diverted through the commercial area via a secondary roundabout to join with the trunk road at the new main roundabout.
The contract will also include extensive site servicing works for both the residential area to the south and the commercial area to the north.
The work commenced at the end of October 2007 and the current programme indicates that all trunk road works will be completed by May 2008 and that the A813 diversion along with all the site servicing works will be finished by the end of July 2008.
